Rocko – Black Male X, 1 ½ years old, 59lbs.
Howdy new pals! You may have heard my name before, but allow me to introduce myself – my name is Rocko and I am a terrific Labrador looking for my forever family. I was in the LRRF news a lot recently, as I had this awful cyst on my spinal column and needed to get a very fancy surgery to remove it. Lucky for me, all you wonderful Labbie lovers raised enough money for me to get my surgery and it was a total success! I am now a healthy happy typical Labrador full of energy and love and I am soooo ready to share this love with my forever family!
I am a fun-loving playful guy who loves to play with chewy toys and wrestle with my doggie pals. I am a friend to everyone I meet – grown-up people, kids, dogs of all sizes, and I even enjoy the company of those fascinating feline creatures! I am a young guy and like all young Labradors, I would thrive in a training class with you, but I do mind my manners very well already. I enjoy the indoor life and behave accordingly – I am already house-trained and crate-trained. My most favorite activity is being with my people! Whether we are going for a hike or walk around the neighborhood, accompanying you to your office, playing a game of fetch, or just vegging out on the couch – as long as I am by your side, I am in heaven!
Rocko is such a sweet and gentle boy with the best attitude. Rocko made it through a major surgery and recovery with flying colors and is now a healthy thriving pup! Throughout his medical ordeal, Rocko always remained in high-spirits and kept that tail wagging non-stop! This guy is so deserving of a special family to love forever <3 Rocko would be a fantastic family dog, due to his kind and gentle nature. He would love to have some doggie friends or kids to pal around with in his forever home.
