Ivy – Black Female, about 2 years, 65 lbs. ~ The practically perfect collection

Hello there, do you need to be rescued?  My name is Ivy and I am a genuine rescue dog ready to save you from a dog free life!  You see, I am a saver of human hearts and will be there for you every single day! You wouldn’t believe how many of you humans need saving and I am just the perfect love machine to do the job – add a little Ivy to your life and pretty soon you are rescued too!

You see, so many humans are lost and sad, while rescue dogs like me die in shelters waiting for you to find us to rescue you. So many of you go un-rescued!  Humans let us over breed, keep us at arm’s length, leave us outside, and never close enough to understand our value.  Humans make us fight, leave us hungry, hurt us, never knowing or understanding that our true purpose is to love you.  They never know what it is liked to be loved by a dog. Or still others, with their “no dog” rules.  They are so lost!  How sad are they?  Never to know, and be worthy, of the love of a dog.

Luckily, there are humans like the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno that understand your suffering.  They find Rescue Dogs like me to give people a second chance.  To give them the opportunity to be loved and cared for by a rescue dog like me.  Isn’t that the most wonderful thing you ever heard?  They are angels here on Earth.

Me, I am perfectly equipped to rescue you with my happy face and a tail that does the butt-wag-dance whenever you are around.  I am sweet and kind and give the most wonderful comfort and kisses.  No one will cherish you more – I am practically perfect! I am great with both two and four legged creatures.  I have already mastered the doggie door and I am house-trained. I am a foot and heart warmer, a cuddly kissing lover, and just want to be by your side.  I am “practically perfect” in every way, just waiting to rescue you! So, won’t you please let me save you and we will live happily ever after?

Ivy is an ideal family dog, she gets along well with everyone and assimilated quickly into her foster home. She is very playful and can fetch and give the ball back!! She’s not a high energy dog but she absolutely loves a quick game of fetch and then time to go lay in her pool. Ivy is in a home with a resident cat and is not overly reactive to the feline so she may be fine with a dog savvy cat and owner. She’s very affectionate and hasn’t met a stranger yet! She’s a very happy go lucky kind of girl. She has a touch of shyness but that doesn’t last long. As with all Labs, an investment in proper training ensures a lifetime of wonderful companion. you would like to know more about Ivy, please fill out an application at our website: http://www.labrescuefresno.org/Thank You for choosing adoption, together, we can change the world, one dog at a time.
