Cooper

Cooper– Our Teddy Bear Collection
Black Male, 5.5 years, 90 lbs.

Hi, I’m Cooper and I am a pretty special guy – just ask my foster parents. Did you ever have a beloved Teddy Bear when you were a kid? You carried it around, confided all your secrets? It may have been missing an eye (in my case, a tail) but to you, it was the most perfect friend in the world? Well, that’s me! A Genuine Cooper. Pet my soft fur and know you will always have a friend in me. No one is ever sad when Cooper is around! I come complete with a certificate of adopt-ation from the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno! Don’t wait, I’m a limited addition of one!

I guess I need to tell you a little secret … I am a second-hand Cooper; maybe Vintage is a better word. But don’t let that worry you – it just means I have more experience and practice at being your best friend. You see, I had a family who adopted me from the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno, and I was very, very loved. Unfortunately, the family had very sad things happen to them and they were unable to care for me. With many tears, they brought me back to the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno and my mommy picked up my ear and whispered “Cooper, we are so sorry to let you down. Please don’t worry over us, you are so special, and we know there is someone out there, lonesome, who needs you to rescue them too!” And now you have an opportunity to have a Genuine Cooper in your life!

I may be vintage, but I come with all my parts (except the tail which legend has it I just plum wagged off I’m so happy) and the sweetest teddy bear personality you will ever meet. I know sit, lay down, and leave it. I can be trusted to sleep on my doggy bed all night long, use a doggy door, and potty only outdoors. I respect my home, love people, and four legged friends. I am a cuddler and a snuggler! I am also a Teddy who likes to hold a teddy in his mouth, or a tennis ball will do in a pinch because fetch is a really fun game! I also so like a walk in the park (so of course I have excellent leash manners.) I love to swim as well! Oh, and “load-up” for a car ride? That is my favorite – to go places with you! So, what are you waiting for? Hurry on down to your local Lab Loving Rescue and as for me, Cooper, a one-of-a-kind original!

Cooper is available for adoption through the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno. This house-trained guy is sweet and happy and would make a wonderful addition to your home. He gets along with people of all shapes and sizes, dogs, and it is anticipated would get along with cats although there are no cats in his foster home to test. He requires little beyond a soft place to sleep and light exercise and could live anywhere if there is abundant love. If you have room in your heart and home, you can’t go wrong with this sweet guy.
