Reese – From our Sweetness Collection
Chocolate Female, Age 2, 60 lbs

Hi! My name is Reese – yes, as in the Peanut Butter Cup – and I love you! Would you adopt me please? I’m really sweet like a Reese’s, but I don’t melt in the sun, I can go for walks, and this is one Reese’s that give Chocolate Kisses for free! Oh, and did I mention I am up for adoption? Pretty good deal, don’t you think? A Reese’s for a life time of Kisses!

So, I have to tell you I am one lucky dog! I ended up in a small local shelter that works with rescues all over the valley to save as many dogs as they can. I was extra lucky because I got signed up by the best of the best, known by dogs as the Defenders of Dogs, known by you as The Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno. And here I am! Aren’t I cute? And did I mention I’m sweet?!

I’m still basically a big puppy who wants to make everyone love her! My foster mom and dad have been great. I get to be part of the family! I get to live inside, especially in this heat! I get to stay right by their side to make sure they always can get a Chocolate Kiss or squeeze when they need it. I like playing with dogs my size and going for walks and counter surfing! I’m not supposed to do the last one and I am trying to remember … but I love you! I can also do good with small dogs, cats and kids if you help me control my exuberance – I am always sure everyone is as happy to see me as I am them and I sometimes forget I’m, shh, don’t tell, 60lbs! They have also taught me my basic manners, potty training, crate training, sit, things like that but I am really looking forward to my forever family to turn me into a Reese’s Special Edition! Is that you? PS. I love you!

Reese is available for adoption through the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno. She is a very sweet girl who is happy, loving and just wants to please and be loved. She is house-trained but has just begun her training and so will require continued basic training. As she is eager to please it is anticipated she will respond well to training. She loves walks and would like a walk and regular exercise every day as she is still young for a Lab. She can be taught to get along with cats, kids, and small dogs but needs reminding of her size. If you have room in your heart and your home for this super sweet girl, please fill out an application at our website.

Thank You,
The Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno
